『ムベに思ふ』　Think of Mube

最近、日本画の展覧会に行く度に『あー私は日本人で良かったな』と思う事がある。日本画(日本人)の空間の取り方や粗密の表現がとても心地よくしっくりする。私の体の中には知らず知らずのうちに、そのような感覚が染み付いて絵を描く時に無意識の中で空間を意識している。今回の作品は11月中頃に突然到来した大きなムベを手に取り3日後に渡欧のリミットの中パネルに紙を貼り構図と色を決め、デッサンし出かけた。行っている間、ムベを思い過ごしていた。描きたいものは、いつどこからやって来て自分の感覚の中に落ちてくるか分からないものである。

Recently, every time I go to a Japanese painting exhibition, I sometimes think,「Ah, I’m glad I’m Japanese.」 The way Japanese paintings (Japanese) take the space and express the roughness are very comfortable and suitable. Unknowingly, such a feeling is permeated in my body, and when I draw a picture, I am unconsciously aware of space. For this work, I picked up a large mube that suddenly arrived in mid-November. Three days later, I put paper on the middle panel of the limit to go to Europe, decided on the composition and color, and went out to draw. While I was going, I was thinking about Mube. What you want to draw is something that you don’t know when and where it will come from and fall into your senses.
